Cristina Gil White is AEIR’s Sustainability & ESG Advisor, bringing decades of leadership in sustainability, public policy, and corporate stewardship. Formerly Chief Sustainability & Communications Officer at Suzano and Vice President of Sustainability at Orbia, she leads with a deep scientific foundation — she holds a degree in Chemistry and an MSc in Environmental Science. After joining the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) as COO, Cristina was appointed interim CEO in September 2024, where she now guides the organization through its next strategic phase. At AEIR, Cristina provides key ESG insight and strategic alignment across the Sync ecosystem (AEIR, SYNC, NETZIUM). She helps shape the organization’s sustainability framework, ensures alignment with global reporting standards, and collaborates with executive leadership to embed ESG integrity into growth strategies. Her global experience — including roles with The Nature Conservancy, Rare Conservation, EDUCA, Pronatura, and board service with GRI, the World Environment Center, CEDO, and the UN Global Compact (Brazil) — makes her uniquely qualified to guide AEIR’s mission toward sustainable impact and credibility.
